This notice describes the V1 AI Food Innovation Copilot prototype, a TRC product innovation initiative. Updated 28 October 2026.
The interactive demo
The demo uses fixed demonstration data. Brief edits are held in browser memory for the current visit; they are not sent to an AI provider or saved to the pilot database. Refreshing or leaving the demo may clear your edits. Do not enter confidential recipes or trade secrets.
Pilot registration
When registration is configured and you submit with consent, TRC receives your contact and professional details, development challenges, tool usage and participation preferences. TRC uses these to understand product-development needs and contact selected participants about discovery interviews or future pilot testing. Selection is not guaranteed.
If registration is unavailable or a save fails, the form displays an error instead of confirming registration. No pilot submission is exposed through a public read endpoint. The configured storage provider is Supabase; only server-held credentials are used to write submissions.
Access and service providers
Authorised TRC project administrators and configured hosting/storage providers may process information as needed to operate the registration service. The application does not publish registration details, sell them, or use them to train an AI model. Hosting providers may separately process connection and operational logs.
Analytics and cookies
V1 emits product interaction events within the browser through a vendor-neutral interface. No external analytics destination or tracking cookies are enabled by default. These events contain event names, page paths and selected module names, not form answers or contact information. This notice must be updated before enabling a new analytics provider.
Abuse prevention
The server uses a keyed hash of the hosting platform’s forwarded connection address to limit submissions. The application does not store the raw address in the pilot database. Temporary rate-limit records expire after an hour and are cleaned up on subsequent accepted submissions after 24 hours.
Retention, corrections and withdrawal
Before public collection opens, TRC must confirm its operating contact, retention schedule, hosting region and access arrangements. You may request correction, deletion or withdrawal of contact consent through the privacy contact below. No automated retention schedule is enabled in this prototype.
